Community & Family Resources is an organization committed to providing comprehensive substance abuse and behavioral health services to Iowans. We are currently seeking Treatment Specialist in the Fort Dodge area to work directly with adults within our residential treatment program.

As an Overnight Treatment Specialist at Community & Family Resources, you will be part of an organization with a strong sense of purpose and a team that strives to create a positive recovery experience for our patients. Treatment Specialists exemplify our values as they provide services that are person centered, advocate for patients and act with integrity and respect.

In addition, Overnight Treatment Specialists:

• Monitor and document patient behavior, facilitate patient activities, and coordinate treatment with counseling staff

• Update patient electronic records with status changes, progress notes, and reports

• Pass medications to patients as needed

• Prepare unit for day shift needs 

Requirements

Community & Family Resources values employees that have both personal and/or professional experiences with recovery. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and competent computer skills. Preferred candidates will have experience or continued education in a human services or related field.

Schedule:

•  Full-Time
•  8p-8a Friday, Saturday, Sunday. 

Candidates must successfully complete a background check and pre-employment drug screen prior to beginning employment. A valid driver's license and good driving record are required for this role.
