Treatment Specialist- Sobering Unit
Community and Family Resources is committed to providing resources to help our communities be their best. Our sobering unit, located in the Guidelink Access Center, is a program where individuals can safely get sober from drugs or alcohol while under supervision of our staff. This program is meant to be a resource in situations where an intoxicated person may go to the emergency room or even jail, when they don't truly need to be there.
We are seeking Treatment Specialists to assist with providing services in our sobering unit. The Treatment Specialists will assist clients with ensuring they have what they need, including keeping them hydrated, providing food, ensuring they have clean clothing, and anything else they may need assistance with. The unit is also staffed with a paramedic to monitor potential need for medical intervention.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides oversight and monitoring of clients’ whereabouts and behaviors.
- Offers clients feedback and support.
- Reports client issues to staff.
- Assists with light housekeeping duties, including shredding, trash, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and other areas as assigned.
- Answers the phone and forwards calls as needed.
Education and Experience Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Schedule: Part-Time
Hours: Every Saturday & Sunday 7a-7p
